Project Overview
The Adopt and Educate a Girl (AdoEduGirl) Project by SCALE ACTION aims to strengthen resilience in households and communities by supporting girls from extremely disadvantaged backgrounds to remain in school.
Many girls from vulnerable households struggle to continue their education due to poverty, lack of learning materials, and social pressures. AdoEduGirl identifies promising girls at risk of dropping out and links them to compassionate sponsors who provide essential support.
The project ensures each beneficiary receives scholastic essentials, including a school bag, uniforms, exercise books, and modest financial assistance to ease household burdens. Additionally, mentorship, life-skills sessions, and academic monitoring are provided to keep the girls motivated and progressing.
